My husband and I live in Rattan, OK with our 2 dogs, Jasper and Snow. My husband, Curtis, is the Technology Director at Rattan Public Schools. We have 3 children, 2 son-in-laws, and 1 grandson. My oldest daughter, Lyndsi, is married to Landon Carper. Landon coaches baseball at Valliant Public Schools and Lyndsi is a Radiological Technician. My youngest daughter, Kayli, is married to Johnny Deaton. Johnny works for Cherokee Nation in Tahlequah and Kayli is a Speech Language Pathologist at Salina Public Schools. Johnny and Kayli have a 20 month old son, Nolan. My son, Easton, is a student at SOSU in Durant, OK. 

I am a blessed cancer survivor. I was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma in 2006. I have had two stem cell transplants, an autogenic transplant in 2008 and an allogenic transplant in 2012. I have been in remission since 2012. 

I have a passion for teaching Science and strive to pass my love of Science on to my students. 

I love to spend time with my family, spoil my grandson, camp, and be at the lake. I am also a huge sports fan, especially college sports. OU is my number 1 team!! <3
