Mission Statement:
Some students have circumstances which prevent them from being successful in a traditional setting. BSC provides students with an opportunity to success in a nontraditional school setting and offers a positive option to larger secondary school settings, allows students to work at an accelerated pace on individualized curriculum to achieve a high diploma, and prepare them for their next step in life, college, workforce, specialized training, etc.

Mission Statement
Our mission is to create a structured environment that will foster the development
of appropriate social behavior, self-discipline, academic success, and personal
integrity for all students. The North Lamar DAEP has an instructional focus on all
academic areas in which the student is enrolled in at their home campus.Objectives
1) Provide an environment that supports:
● self-discipline
● social emotional development
● an increase in academic performance
2) Provide opportunities for students to:
● correct behavior(s) and take responsibility for actions
● make both short and long-term goals
● earn privilege to return to their regular school campus
