Alphabetized list of scholarships. These are some that have been available in the past, but that doesn't mean they will always be available. Most of the local ones are listed on this and they will definitely be offered.
Elks Scholarship. Multiple ones listed with various deadlines.
Delta Waterforwl Scholarship. (3) 1,000 Scholarships to Lamar County Seniors. Deadline February 15, 2023
Dixie Youth Baseball - Must have participated in Dixie Youth Baseball programs when 12 years old or younger. Deadline Mar 1, 2023
Paris Optimist Foundation - Senior in Lamar County and have participated in the Paris Optimist Baseball Program at Woodall Field when 5-14 years old.. Deadline March 1, 2023
Ed Thomas Memorial Scholarship - Must be accepted to PJC. for the Fall 2023 semester. This is an academic award. Deadline March 1, 2023
North Lamar Athletic Booster Club Scholarship. Dealine March 10, 2023

Please be aware that the North Lamar Athletic Booster Club has changed the requirements for their scholarship. Parents of recipients must be members of the NLABC, and recipients must have participated in a UIL athletic event in their junior and senior years. The application will be available in the spring.
Financial Aid Information
Seniors who are interested in applying for these and other scholarship should take the ACT or SAT this fall if they have not already done so. Online registration can be done at www.act.org (ACT) or www.collegeboard.com (SAT). Sample tests are available in the counselor’s office.
