I started teaching at North Lamar High School in the Ag Department during the 2018-2019 school year. I will be starting my 4^th year at North Lamar this fall 2020.

Prior to teaching high school I worked and taught at TAMU-Commerce in the School of Agriculture. I was the Greenhouse Manager and lecturer for Horticulture and Ag Sciences. My favorite courses I taught there were Floral Design and Entomology!

I am married to my husband, Jonathan. I have 2 kids of my own that attend North Lamar and 2 step kids that attend Carthage schools.

We have lots of critters around the house including 4 dogs (my favorite in Penny), chickens, rabbits, quail, and fish. 

When I’m not busy raising kids or working I love to be outside around plants. I love to garden with my Dad and can the produce we raise during the summer. Yum!
